Wildlife Conservation Nepal is a not for profit organization established in 2002 with a vision to protect and conserve natural heritage and disseminate information on environment and wildlife issues. As part of WCN’s ongoing project, Biruwa Advisors carried out stakeholder consultation and assessment for suggesting business opportunities on NTFP farming in two districts; Chitwan and Nawalparasi. The consultation provided way forward for both the community members and the WCN team for commercially sustaining their activities. Biruwa Advisors and WCN are looking forward to working on more relevant projects in the future that can sustainably promote forestry and nature conservation through business and entrepreneurship.

Team Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is a private equity and investment firm based in Kathmandu, Nepal, supported by a dynamic group of local business people with experience across multiple sectors. Biruwa Advisors carried out a legal research for Team Ventures during their initial stages of establishment in order to share findings related to possible entity models that could be used to carry out their stated objectives within the legal framework of Nepal. Biruwa Advisors also provided consultation for Team Venture’s home grown business idea. Biruwa Advisors has an understanding with TEAM Ventures to collaborate to provide investment to suitable startups and growth stage companies.

Restless Development is an international development agency working with young people in Nepal since 1991 to change their lives as well as the lives of the people in their communities by solving the challenges faced in the world. Realizing the importance and potential of youth in the sustainable development of Nepal, Restless Development and Biruwa Advisors have an understanding to collaborate for working on any programs that integrates youth and entrepreneurship. Building on this relationship, Biruwa Advisors carried out an assessment in regard to how Restless Development’s existing projects can be made more inclusive through incorporation of Private Sector Development. Similarly, an entrepreneurship workshop was also conducted among the employees of Restless Development to make them understand about Private Sector Engagement and its significance in today’s context.
