Young people spend many hours every day on the net keeping tabs on friends .Below are some channels that I recommend you subscribe if you are an aspiring entrepreneur and some videos you ought to watch.
Note that this list is a work in progress, I will add links to it as I find it. If you know of any good channels or videos, please add them to the comments below:
This Week in Venture Capital – A talk show hosted by Mark Suster, an tech entrepreneur and angel investor, this show brings in the most prominent venture capitalists in the United States to its table.
This Week In Startups – This channel focuses more on web startups in Silicon Valley but it is an excellent place to learn as the program features mostly entrepreneurs and venture capitalists who have made it out there in the real world.
Harvard Business Review – With over 34,000 subscribers and 2.4 million video views, this is probably best channel for entrepreneurs world wide. The channel has a wealth of videos from Harvard Business School professors, established business execs, prominent Harvard graduates and dignitaries.
Stanford Graduate School for Business – The school at the heart of Silicon Valley features talks and experience from some of the most talented and innovative individuals from the World.
Scobleizer – Channel started by Robert Scoble (I know I don’t properly know who this guy is either, but he has some great and funny videos on his channel). But 3.5 million video views in this channel, which is more then Harvard Business Review, is nothing to kid about.
Now here are some videos worth watching for entrepreneurs:
Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement Address
How to craft your 30 second elevator pitch or networking introduction
Top Ten Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make
The business plan
Seth Godin Wants You to Decide!
Nepal being Nepal: Bandwidth not good enough to watch these videos on YouTube? We have downloaded copies of these videos that you can transfer if you just bring your USB flash drive along to our office.
Definitely worth every second. “Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.” – I am a great believer in this thought. Most great entrepreneurs were successful because they had a certain vision and pursued their dreams. Success is rarely dependent on chance.
